Le nuove stanze ricavate dagli spazi mansardati di quest’albergo, originariamente destinati a locali di servizio, sono quelle che maggiormente incarnano ed enfatizzano lo spirito alpestre di questa esclusiva struttura alberghiera, situata in una delle più rinomate località sciistiche della Svizzera. Le falde dei tetti inclinati, che caratterizzano questi ambienti, e gli abbaini, che offrono splendide vedute sulle innevate vette circostanti, trovano riscontro in arredi, colori e finiture, scelti per offrire agli ospiti un’atmosfera calda e protettiva. Boiseries realizzate con legni venati dai toni chiari e tappezzerie casual riproducono con eleganza gli interni tipici dello chalet. La scelta di un taglio ampio per tutti i vani delle nuove suite, verso cui la progettazione si è orientata sin dai primi disegni, è stata immediatamente condivisa dalla proprietà, sia per rispondere alla maggiore esigenza di spazio e  di comfort che hanno, negli alberghi, coloro che praticano gli sport montani, sia per tener vivo nell’ospite, anche durante la permanenza nelle stanze, quel sentimento di vastità offerto dai paesaggi delle alte quote.

 

The new rooms obtained from the attic, that was originally used for service rooms, fully express the alpine character of this hotel, located in one of the most renowned ski resort of Switzerland. Inclined pitches and skylights, framing wonderful views on snowy mountains, are emphasized by furniture, colours and finishing, chosen to give the guests a warm and cosy atmosphere. Wainscoting made of clear veined wood and casual tapestry shape the typical interiors of a chalet. The choice of making  the new rooms particularly wide was immediately approved by the owner since the first sketches, both to well answer the need of space felt inside by who practice mountain sport, and to keep live inside that feeling of vastness offered by high altitude landscapes.
