Urban masterplan for Kopiago, a new town of Papua New Guinea

While respecting the local building traditions and using exclusively natural materials, such as stones and wood, the architectural language conceived for Kopiago aims to surround people with a new urban context, whose aesthetic qualities stimulate a new narrative of the local culture: that is encouraging the local population to express its creativity and potential. Together with the masterplan, this project also proposes the design of the main buildings of the city, such as the Commercial Trade Centre, the buildings of the District Administration area, the Airport terminal and others.
