Questa serie di mobili da studio, costituita da una scrivania, una libreria e una console, è stata disegnata per Artpeak, azienda leader in Cina nella produzione del mobile, ed esposta a Shenzhen in occasione del SIFE 2015 (Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition). L’azienda chiedeva un prodotto che introducesse innovazione ed eleganza, senza però stravolgere i processi costruttivi.  E’ stata così mantenuta la struttura originaria dei pezzi, di stile europeo classico, reinventandone completamente l’estetica attraverso l’inserimento di  ornamenti e decori tipici della antica tradizione cinese, opportunamente rielaborati. Il lieve ondeggiare del bianco graticcio su fondo azzurro e i temi floreali blu e oro animano le sagome classiche di insolita vivacità, felicemente recepita tanto dai vertici dell’azienda che dal pubblico in fiera. L’intero stand espositivo è stato anch’esso appositamente disegnato.

Pieces of furniture for study, SIFE 2015, Shenzhen

This set of furniture, consisting of desk, bookcase and console, was designed on commission of  the leader Chinese company Artepeak and shown at SIFE 2015 (Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition). The company asked for something new and elegant, without changing their production process. The classical European structure of the pieces of furniture was kept and they was aesthetically renewed by introducing ornaments and decors coming from the ancient Chinese tradition, suitably revised. The light waving of the white lattice, together with blue and gold floral themes, gives the classical shapes uncommon vivacity, happily  welcome both by the company and the visitors at the fair. The stand was specially designed as well.
